Here’s a news flash: travel isn’t perfect. No matter how many apps you download, points you accumulate or top-ten lists you memorize, travel is, and should be, a slightly messy and unpredictable business. The quicker you accept this truth, the more you will enjoy your journeys.
It’s been nearly six months since my last post. I’ll confess that after I left my previous consulting position I intentionally took myself off the grid, allowing myself time to immerse in new travels, new insights and new experiences without the pressure or concern for writing blog entries.
A simple fact of both travel and life is that all journeys come to an end. And after nearly four years of planes, trains and sometimes questionable watercraft, my time with LENZ-works Productions has come to an end.
If Florida is the Sunshine state, then it seems only fitting that one of its brightest rays is a woman named Dawn.
Yes, yes…it’s fashion week in New York. And while I’m doing my best to chain-smoke Nat Shermans and talk incessantly on my mobile, I simply must allow for the fact that I’m nowhere near any relevant hub of fashion. Of course a detail like that would never stop the delightfully fashionable Tess Elspeth.
